Autumn is often the best season for cut roses - Do you know how to keep them beautiful for longer?

We are finalising of one of the main jobs in the rose production process: budding new plants for next winter.

Our three, fantastic rose budders - David, Lewis and Harry, all from Scotland, all with that beautiful and  strong accent that sometimes we struggle to understand... - are finishing this year's production and it's exciting to see those little plants growing and getting ready for digging season.

Brian loves checking them every week, taking notes of their improvements and sometime helping them with some extra fertiliser when the weather doesn't cooperate.

We had a very slow and lazy summer here in the South East of South Australia, with not many hot days and low temperatures throughout the season.

Strange summer, indeed. But after all, what hasn't been strange and unexpected in the last 12 months?

One of the most exciting things we do in this period is to decide which new varieties we'll introduce next year. We are the agent for the Australian breeder Bruce Brundrett and we now know which beautiful Brundrett's roses we'll offer you in 2022... With another big surprise from Overseas!

Stay tuned!

We'll have exciting news for you very soon.

Did you know?...

I'm sure you already know we are trying our best to avoid as much plastic as we can in our packaging.

It's not always possible - not yet, at least - but I think we are doing quite well with our Potted Roses.

A new introduction is this compostable bag we use to pack potted roses when we post them to you.

It's a strong, black bag that can be turned into a groovy carry bag for your shopping (just follow the instructions printed on the bag or watch Kelly in this short video).

After you finished with it, you can put it in your compost or green bin: it'll be good food for worms.

We love it and we hope you will appreciate our efforts to help our environment (it's just the beginning though... so much more needs to be done).
